More Information VRP: Your chores are not done.
VRP: Your chores are not done. Green: You have yet to complete the chores listed on the kitchen white board.
A VRP speaker may say what is "not" done or accomplished, may change voice volume up or down, and may repeat the inferential statement at various times. Saying that someone has "yet to" do something is free of blame and criticism.

This makes for a greater chance that the receiver of the message will focus on the factual situation and the desired behavior rather than divert his (or her) focus to a defense of self-esteem or a counter-attack.

Additionally, the chance of the desired behavior being accomplished is more likely when it is presented clearly and VRP-free.
